The brochure for the college alumni trip arrives, and this year it’s a trip to Paris. Melanie Russell sees it as a perfect opportunity to get her group of girlfriends back together for a “girls only” vacation. She and Gary aren’t getting along and she needs some time away to figure out why.

A visit to Wine Country in France and a love story all in one! Extremely tasteful and informative book. It's not flashy and superficial, but unfolds carefully, with interesting characters who are trying to deal with universal problems. . .
I would read anything by this author.
Great read! Marty Almquist is masterful with detailed descriptions of characters, experiences and locations. Reading the book you can actually imagine yourself knowing the friends who reunite, being in Paris and experiencing what the trip. Her writing draws on all all the senses and makes you want go on the same trip, eat the same food, drink the same wine and visit the same locations.
I loved this book! It was so much fun to join the 5 women at their reunion in Paris and to hear of each of their lives they left behind for a week. . . a great storyline with just the right amount of sightseeing and food extravaganza information in and about Paris. I want to go back to Paris and I want to read another book by the author. Bravo!!
