This book easily passed my "great" criteria- I was disappointed when it ended ! By the last page, I felt like I knew each of the women and still wanted to know more- a sequel, perhaps? Although I've never really wanted to go to Paris, after reading this book , it has made my "must see soon" list of travel. I will definitely take this book along as a "travel guide."
Amazing! I've only been to Paris once, but fell in love with the city. Lots of great insider info about Paris as part of the story; where to shop for gifts, souvenirs, and amazing food. The story of the sisters made me long for a "girls weekend" with my own sisters. . . I hope there is a sequel! I want to know what happened when they returned home! Very nicely written. A great, quick read.
I just finished reading Four Sisters in Paris and LOVED it. I really liked the way Ms. Almquist made each chapter from the perspective of one of the sisters. I could relate to all of them in some way and ended up learning from each of them. . . I really could see what they were seeing, taste what they were tasting and feel what they were feeling. I can't wait to go to Paris again and, when I do, I will most definitely want to experience some of the things that these sisters did. Wonderful book!!!
